TRUSTWORTHY COUNSELING BY PROFESSIONALS
Anyone can feel better, be happy, and put their life in the direction they want. At the core of effective therapy is the client’s sincere desire, motivation, and commitment to help themselves and promote positive change. Therapy can be hard work because the most difficult task is self-examination. Our staff conduct sessions in a safe, trusting, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment. Everyone has the right to quality mental health treatment regardless of a client’s race, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, or their sexual orientation. The therapists use various empirically proven approaches to treatment of various mental health issues and personality disorders. Some, of these approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Client-centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, and teaching the concept of Mindfulness.
Our focus is helping clients to develop techniques to minimize symptoms, discover the root cause for symptoms, take more control of their lives, and find effective and productive coping mechanisms for elements that may be out of their control. No two people are the same, so it is critical to our staff that sessions are based solely on the needs and goals of individual, marital, family, or group sessions. The practice takes most insurance plans and if we are not a participating provider, we have reasonable private pay fees.
Each staff member has clinical expertise in three or more areas listed below. If you do not see your problem on the list, please call us to inquire if any of the staff specialize in what you need. We do not have a psychiatrist that prescribes medication on staff. If you and your therapist feel that a psychiatric assessment for possible medication is needed, we will refer you to a psychiatrist that works closely with the staff to ensure the client is receiving the best possible results from taking psychotropic medications.
If you are interested in seeing a therapist please call or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The office manager will get back to you within 48 hours to answer questions about availability, insurance, and therapy services. If you decide to become a client, you will be emailed forms to fill out and return so that your insurance and if any financial responsibility is verified prior to your first session.
